I was asked to guest jury the student exhibition at Sierra Nevada College on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. I accepted at least one work by each student (how can you come over from New York and deny someone entry into an exhibition at their own school? that would be so sad!), superimposed the gallery floor plan onto a map of the surrounding area, and then drove all the works around and photographed them somewhere on the map. The works are installed in the gallery exactly where they fall on the superimposed floor plan. A Flickr map was made with the photographed works geotagged. The students will continue to add to this map (hopefully).
