THE XIU XIU DISPOSABLE CAMERA PROJECT!!!
- If you bring me disposable camera to any of the shows on the August/ September Xiu Xiu tour with a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) I will shoot the photographs on the tour and mail you back the film free of charge.
- You will then take the film to your local film developer and see what is on it.
- You will have the negatives and the prints. They will be yours to do as you wish.
This project is splinter off of the former polaroid projects. This time it is just me taking the pictures and not being able to see them. And this time you can make as many copies as you want.
REMEMBER:
- bring any kind of disposable camera
- bring a padded envelope so the film doesn't get smashed or fall out
- bring enough stamps so that I can mail it back to you
That is it, BUT:
- you can put different kinds of teas in the envelope for us
- you can put different kinds of chocolates in the envelope for us
- you can put different kinds of nuts and berries in the envelope for us
- you can put different kinds of fresh fruits in the envelope for us
- for $20 I will take requests from you (include a list of 10 or so pictures you want - be creative)
I WILL ALSO BE SHOOTING PHOTOGRAPHS FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T NECESSARILY WANT "BAND" RELATED IMAGERY. LET ME KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
